The Park Board of Commissioners is comprised of non-paid elected officials who serve a four-year term. The public is welcome to attend Board meetings. If you wish to address the Board of Commissioners, please fill out a “Public Comment Card” (available from the Board Secretary at the Park District Administrative Office) and give the completed card to the Board Secretary prior to the start of the Board Meeting. The Board of Commissioners will take all presentations under consideration and respond, at the latest, by the end of the next regular Morton Park District Board of Commissioners meeting. Please limit your comments to 5 minutes. Anyone wishing to have a two-way conversation with the Board of Commissioners must request to be placed on the agenda a minimum of 5 business days prior to the regular Board meeting they wish to attend. The Board appreciates a written review of the agenda items that are presented for their consideration. All participants are expected to conduct themselves with civility and respect.

 AMENDMENT TO THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT - Public Act 097-0609 Concerning Public Employee Compensation & Benefits. In accordance with Public Act 097-0609, a list of all employees whose total compensation package equals or exceeds $75,000 is available in the Park District’s business office. *Public Act 101-0504 requires IMRF employers that have a website to include a link to the IMRF Employer Cost and Participation Information web page. The business office is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00p.m. & 1:00p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
