Facilities

This beautiful park is located within the heart of Morton's homes. It features two covered picnic shelters, picnic grills, and multiple playground structures with swings, slides, and a small tot playground area and public restrooms. Idlewood Park is home to the Morton Pool and the Phil and Barbara Kuhl Fine Arts Pavilion that host our summer concert series. There is plenty of parking in a lot off of Greenwood street or in the lot by the Morton Pool on Idlewood street. Our summer movies in the park are also held at Idlewood Park in June and July at dusk (please check the calendar for dates).

Alcoholic beverages are PROHIBITED BY LAW on Park District property without prior approval and proper permit. Violators will be prosecuted.

Dogs are also NOT allowed in the park.
